Kyle was born and raised in the swamps and flatlands of East Texas but decided to leave home and join the Army at 18. After serving as a soldier for eight years, he returned to Texas to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. Following graduation, Kyle embarked on a career with ExxonMobil that kept him constantly on the move. While he found something to like about every place they sent him, no place compared to Montana—not even close. So, when a permanent assignment in Billings became available, he jumped at the opportunity.
Kyle first met Sam Hensler when he hired Dynamic Analysis to evaluate fall protection systems at the facilities he managed. After many backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and climbing trips together, the duo decided to become business partners, and Kyle joined the Dynamic Analysis team in 2021.
Now serving as the Vice President of Engineering Design, Kyle shares his office space with Hank, a retired ranch dog who much prefers the comforts of office life over working cattle. Outside of work, you’ll find Kyle scaling mountain peaks with skis, ice tools, crampons, or running shoes—depending on the season.
