Raised in the flatlands of Texas, Kyle pursued his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech. After touring Iraq with the US Army from 2003 to 2011, he knew the mountains were where he belonged. Working for Exxon, a globally positioned company, he explored different mountainous regions before he settled in Billings. Here he found the locals to be genuine and was captivated by the epic Beartooth Mountains. Kyle and Sam Hensler crossed paths when Kyle hired Dynamic Analysis to assess fall protection at the facilities he managed. From backcountry skiing, mountain biking partners, and climbing partners, the duo became business partners when he Kyle joined the Dynamic Analysis team in 2021.
Now a partner and the Vice President of Engineering Design. Kyle’s daily office companion is the handsome Mr. Hank; a mixed breed rescue, and sometimes Darla, his long-time companion and corgi-mixed breed rescue that he refers to as his “caterpillar dog”. When he isn’t at the office, he can be found at the top of a mountain peak with skis, ice-tools & crampons, or running shoes - depending on the season. As a volunteer with the Red Lodge Search and Rescue team, Kyle may be coming to your rescue should you find yourself stranded in the Beartooths and in dire need of help.
