Cuyler (like ‘Tyler’ but with a ‘K’ sound) spent more than a decade working for his family-owned landscaping company, Billings Nursery. Perpetually the smartest one in the room, Cuyler sought a career that would tax his cognition greater than his back. Cuyler met Sam Hensler through Sporstball, and before long, he found himself dusting off drafting skills he learned long ago. However, Cuyler has proven an asset greater than a common draftsman; he has demonstrated a propensity to quickly pick up engineering principles and disciplines, making him an invaluable designer.
His four-legged companion, Winry, a Weimaraner-Vizsla mixed breed, accompanies him to work. When Cuyler and Winry are not in the office, you are not very likely to cross their path in the wilds of Montana as they enjoy venturing to mountainous areas so remote and deep, that few even know they exist. In town, you may encounter Cuyler volunteering as a camp counselor at the Montana Youth Diabetes Alliance, where he helps educate kids on how to manage their Type I diabetes while being able to live active, adventurous, and healthy lives. He also enjoys preparing dishes from garden-grown vegetables, and recently added backyard chickens to his “farm.”
